A W A R E N E S S

October is a month when every girl, young lady and woman should get a second job. It's up to us to learn more about breast cancer and prevention. And most importantly, it's up to us to share that knowledge with the women we care about. Everybody knows the statistics, and nobody has found the cure yet, but everybody can make a huge difference by taking action to promote early detection. Carpool to mammograms, put an alarm on your mom's phone to remind her, and send your college roommate a message on facebook. It's never been easier to spread the word, so start now to save the one in fourteen of your friends that will get diagnosed in her lifetime. Here's a little something my friend Lacey and I worked on . . . it's about the idea that while cancer continues to tear us apart, awareness and prevention will bring us together.
