Just got back from an amazing weekend in San Francisco for the opening of Eric's newest show at Giant Robot http://www.gr-sf.com/. This body of work was about the fragility of Rodeo culture and it's
connection to fallen cultural periods in pre-revolutionary France including Rococo and the family of Louis XIV. If you're going to be in SF in the next month, check it out. The work of two other amazing artists are also featured Munkao and Louise Chen. All three artists worked around the theme of "flirting with disaster" and the work is alluring and humorous and sad all at the same time.
